what is quixotically?
born from a season of change and inspired by the beauty of handmade craft, quixotically is a leather journal brand rooted in care, creativity, and community. after being laid off from a job i loved, i discovered the world of journal-making and it became a healing practice. what started as a personal journey quickly grew into a way to connect with others.
at quixotically, each journal is handcrafted with intention, love, and hope. i believe beautiful, meaningful stationery shouldn't be out of reach. that’s why i’m committed to creating custom, affordable leather journals for anyone seeking a space to reflect, dream, or simply be. every journal is infused with good energy and made for you, thoughtfully and wholeheartedly.
quixotically is for the dreamers, the writers, the overthinkers, the quiet rebels; for anyone navigating the world in their own beautifully quixotic way.

at quixotically, i believe your journal should be as unique as you are. that’s why my leather journals are fully customizable; from leather to elastic cord, grommets, and even the little finishing touches. you get to choose every detail, so your journal feels truly personal.
i also include extras like stamping, charms, and back up cord at no additional cost, because i don’t believe in charging extra for the little things that make your journal yours.
to me, you're not just a customer, you’re a friend. and i put heart into every journal i make, just for you.
each journal is fully handmade. cut and stitched by hand. no machines here.
leather is a beautiful, natural material, so you might notice slight variations in color, gentle marks, and unique textures. these are all part of what makes each piece special.
with regular use, your journal will develop its own character through soft shaping, little scratches, and a rich patina that tells your story. every journal is lovingly made by hand, using simple tools, no machines or mass production, so you may find small, human touches that reflect the care and craftsmanship behind it.
to care for your journal, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture. if it does get wet, simply lay it flat and let it air dry naturally. the natural oils from your hands will help the leather age beautifully, but if it ever feels dry, a little leather balm can be gently applied and buffed to restore its glow.
enjoy the journey with your journal, it’s made to be a lasting companion.
